No business doing in this market, the weather preventing the f ellmon^ers drvin* up any lots for sale. ° J ° Sheepskins.— We had a small supply at our weekly auction on Monday last, our catalogue comprising only about 1000 skins, which caused brisk competition and a considerable advance in prices We sold butchers cross-breds from 3s 9d to 4s 9d ; merinos, 2s 3d to 3s Sd ; dry skins participating in the advance to the extent of 3d to 4d per skin. Tallow.— We had several parcels to offer, which brought a slieht advance on former rates, good mixed bringing 27s to 28a 6d : dark inferior, 23s to 25s ; rough fat, 21s 8d to 22s 6d. Grain.— Wheat of superior quality is in fair demand, but secondary lots are unsaleable. Prime milling, 4s 4d to 4s 6d ; fair to eood. 4s to 4s 2d ; inferior, 3s 9d ; fowls' wheat, 3s.
