Me. John Elliott, of George-street, Dunedin, has on hand a large and superior stock of boots and shoes. Intending purchasers will find it much to their advantage to patronise the establishment in question. Mr, J. Beveridge, well-known in connection with the firm of Messrs. Peterson, Walker-street, Dunedin, has opened a grocery establishment in Princes-street, next Messrs. Scanlan Bros. Mr. Bevcridge's stock is of the most excellent quality. Messrs. Gilmour Bros. & Co. hare purchased the Grocery and Provision Merchant's business lately carried on in Princes Street South, Dunediu, by Mr. D. Wood. The Messrs. Gilmour, as mil readily bu acknowledged by the friends and patrons of thciv establishment in Walker-street, are eminently qualified to carry on the trade undertaken by them successfully and well. The beneficial effcts produced by Professor Gusscott's herbs are spoken of as remarkable. Me. S. K. M'Liskey, of Rattray-street, Dunedin, is at present supplying the public with boots and shoes of home and colonial make of the best qualities. The work turned out by Mr. M'Liskey's cstabment is of a very superior quality.
