THE MARIST BROTHERS SCHOOL, WELLINGTON.

The annual tlislrilmlioii of prizes and a dramatic entertainment took place at the schoolroom on Tlmmtay, the 20tli December. The drama chosen was entitled, " Sebastian ■; " ov, the '• J loin an Martyr,' 1 whi.-h was played in four nets and to a crowded house. The character^ were, extremely well supported, and excited great applause. Master Isidore' Pagon took the part of Calpurnius, a Pedantic Philosopher, and he acted his part very well, creating much interest by his speeches. The other performers were Masters Cha.s. Bonnington, Emperor of Itome ; James Eddie, the Martyr ; Ilobert Dixon, Pancratiuts. thin Martyr's boy : J. Kcardon, Diogenes ; and several others, there being in all 21 characters..
