ST. JOSEPH's BRANCH, NO. 73, DUNEDIN.
The half-yearly meeting of the Contingent in connection with the above lodge, was held in St. Joseph's Schoolroom, on Monday eveiiing. There were a large number of members present, and more than usual interest was evinced in the result of the election for the various oflk'e3, which eventuated in the selection of the following : — President, Bro. D. Fox ; Vice-president, Bro. D. Heffernan ; Secretary, Bro. J. T. Harris ; Warden, Bro. A. Corrigan ; Guardian, Bro. M. Curr. A vote of thanks was carried unanimously to Bros. Connor and Moylan, of the parent lodge, for the interest theyliad at all times taken in the progress of the Contingent. Bros. P. Daniels, A. Corrigan, D. Fox, and P. Hagerty, volunteered to enliven the next meeting of the lodge witjh readings, recitations, &c, it being also agreed that meetings should be held monthly in future. The usual votes of thanks to tho retiring officers, and the chair brought the proceedings to a close.
