INTIMATION is hereby given to Shareholders that, to entitle them to Vote at the Meeting advertised to be held on the 30th day of September next, it will be necessary that they should Sign the Deed of Settlement of the Bank before that day. NOTICE is hereby given that, pursupnt to the Deed of Settlement of the Colonial Bank of iNew Zealand, a Special General Meeting of the Proprietors of the said Bank will be held at the Masonic Hall, Moray Place, Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, on Wednesday, the Thirtieth day of September, One thousand "Eight hundred and Seventy-four, at Two o'clock p.m., for the purpose of Electing Seven Directors and Two Auditors, to be the first Directors and Auditors of the said Bank. And that every Proprietor who is possessed of three hundred shares at the least in the capital of the aid Bank, and shall become a candidate for the office of Director, must give notice thereof to the Board of Directors, in writing, to be left at the offices of the said Bank, in High street, Dunediu aforesaid, thirty days at least before the day of Election And that every person appointed to act as proxy must be a Proprietor of the said Bank; and ev#»-v proxy must be in writing, under the hand of the Proprietor of c thaiea in respect of which such proxy shall be given, and delivered to the Secretary of the Bank at least twenty-four hours before the time appointed for the said meeting.
