We are glad to find that a Committee has been formed for the purpose ef providing a pic-nic and day's amusement for the children of St Joseph's school, and that Vauxliall gardens have been placed at the disposal of the Committee by Mr Cutten, free of charge. The pic-nic, which is'under the patronage of His Lordship the Bishop, is, we are glad to learn, likely to Be a great success Jfcn excellent biU-of- fare isprovided, and the charge, including everything, is children, Is ; adults, 2s 6d. It is to be hoped that heads of families will avail themselves of this opportunity of giving their children a first-class treat, aucl at so inconsiderable a sum.
