THE RISEN SAVIOUR.
1. Leaving no one helpless Yes, our Lord is risen In the battle fought. Glorious to the skies ! la His Father' b mansions 9. Death and Hell defies. If you would rise with Him, Do what He lias said : 2. Follow His example — Let our joy be tempered In Hia pathways tread. With a holy calm. Hyms of exultation 10. Blend with solemn psalm .' Best your hopes upon Him : Pure and holy live. 3. After His perfection All that human nature Constant always strive. Living could endure — This for us He suffered, 11. This for us lie bore. Every manly duty To thy best fulfil4- Whute'er $hy hand findeth, Agony of body, Do it with a will. Torture of the mind ; Crushed " like the bruised reed 12 Broken by the wind." Not for worldly profit, Not for worldly fame ; r. •* j But for love of JesusCrucified w!th felons, Honor to His name. As a felon died ; Opening to mortals ,„ Gales of Heaven wide. Whafc .g. g Eaater g To the hardened heart ? Now He pleadeth for us- *»£* J^ 6 "'* heritage God at God's right hand ! Has the slran g° r P«* ? • " Ministering spirits " • •• Round about him stand, _ **• Terrible the waking 7. At the last dread day, Full of love and mercy, • E<or tnoae H 'icked spirits Pitiful for sin j Passed in sin away ! Knowing human weakness — Who a man hath been. 15. But to His own children, 8. Hark the Eternal word ! Giving strength and power " Blessed of My Father enter Where His aid is sought ; The joy of yoar Lord."
