Kaitaia.— Tonga Minhinnick, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Ruatoria police. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 685.)

Auckland.— George Joseph Vukovich, alias Jozip Vukovich, failing to report for military service, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 413.)

Auckland. Harry George Hogan, alias Henry George Lowe, failing to maintain,. has been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 175.)

Auckland. Henry George Hogan, alias Harry George Hogan, alias Henry George Lowe, default of maintenance : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 273.)

Auckland. Janies Steed, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 355.)

Auckland.— Charles Marshall Fyfe, referred to in Police Gazette, 1927, page 597, and Photographs, 1924, page 2, was killed'in a motor-car accident at Beecroft (New South Wales) on Bth instant. (C.R. 26/145.)

Auckland.— Herbert James Marshall, aiding and abetting unlawful disposal of tires, has been arrested by the Levin police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 273.)

Hamilton.— Mervyn James Roland Valliiley, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Frankton Junction police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 175.)

. Hamilton.— Paul Eugene Van Hanslaer, alias Henry Edward Thomas Wakelin, alias Forrest, false pretences, has been arrested by the Opotiki police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 317.)

. Whakatane. —The unclaimed overcoat found in possession of Charles Howard has been claimed by the owner, Tom Hamilton Morgan. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page ,278.)

Wairoa. Toby Wilson, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Freeman’s Bay police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 95.) -

Carterton.— Frederick George Brown, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Onehunga police. (See • Police Gazette, 1940, page 516.)

Upper Hutt. — Norman Charles Mabey, convicted of being intoxicated in charge of motor-car (see Police Gazette, 1944, page 767). The disqualification imposed on him under the Motor-vehicles Act has been removed as from 15th instant, but his driving of a motor-vehicle is limited to that of a motortruck in the course of his employment. - -

Wellington.— Leo Douglas Morpeth, escaping from mental hospital, has been discharged from the institution, and no further action is desired. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 2.)

Christchurch.— Cooper, inquired for, has paid his Social Security Contributions, and no further action is desired. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 626.)

Melbourne (Victoria). — Leslie Eugene Francis Xavier Brown, alias Lair Brown, alias Leslie Power, alias John Dennis Fox, alias Frank Power,, alias Thomas Powell, alias Leslie Brown, idle and disorderly and murder, has been arrested by the Melbourne (Victoria) police.
