PERMITS TO PROCURE FIREARMS REFUSED
Wanganui. —A permit to procure or import a firearm is not to be issued to the person named hereunder without reference to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington : Jack Burman Barns, referred to in Police Gazette, 1932, page 179, and Photographs, page 29. ' On 15th instant, at Wanganui, he was sentenced to imprisonment for life on a charge of murder. (P. 22/520/3200.) .
Palmerston North. —A permit to procure or import a firearm is not to be issued to the person named hereunder without reference to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington : Otto Christian Hansen, age forty-five, height 5 ft. 11 in., native of New Zealand, strong build, fresh complexion, fair hair. He is at present farming at Ngaturi, Pahiatua. (P. 22/520/3196.)
