Whangarei. — New Zealand Government (Army Department’s) revolver, &c., stolen : William James Beasley has been charged with the offence by the Ashburton police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 270, and 1944, page 641.)
Johnsonville. Alexander James Grant, escaping from mental hospital, has been discharged from the institution. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 737.)
