Mount Roskill. —Between the 21st September last and 30th October, from a dwelling at 662 Mount Albert Road, the property of GORDON FRANKFORT THORNE, 55 Galway Street, Onehunga, a gentlemen’s stainless-steel round Rolex Oyster wristlet watch, No. 127364/2595, Arabic luminous numerals, metal wrist-band about $ in. wide; value, £25. Auckland. 2lst or 22nd November last, from an office in Victoria Park, the property of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA GOVERNMENT, an L. C. Smith standard typewriter, serial No. 1A1759046-11 ; value, £2l ss. lOd. Identifiable.

Auckland. —11th or 12th December last, from a room at 870 Manakau Road, the property of JOHN CHARLES KENDALL, a brown leather suit-case fitted with straps and buckles, 24 in. by 12 in. by 6 in., containing twenty-four £5 notes ; a pension paper ; some motor-car ownership papers ; and petrol-coupons for current year; total value, 6122. Identifiable except money and coupons.

Auckland. —On the 20th or 21st December last, the Penrose Post-office, Station Road, the property of the NEW NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Post and Telegraph Department) was broken into, the safe opened by means of explosives, and the following stolen : A black cash-box with brass-coloured handle, 10 in. by in. by 5 in. ; a black cash-box with brass handle, 8 in. by 5 in. by 5 in.; £l9 Os. Jd. in money; a. cheque for £l2 16s. Bd., No. F. 20430, drawn on the National Bank of New Zealand, Auckland, in favour of “ Postmaster,” signed “ C. H. Andrews and J. F. Sullivan, pp. MacEwans Machinery Ltd.,” and dated 20/12/43; a medical warrant for 15s. which- has been cashed ; £ll Bs. in 35., 65., and 12s. N.Z. Listener” coupons; and four ss. giftcoupons ; total value, £47 9s. Bld. Cash-boxes and cheque identifiable.

Between the 22nd and 24th ultimo, from the factory of GEORGE FRASER AND SONS, LTD., 81 Stanley Street, a 100 ft. acetone gas-cylinder, painted red, brass fitting, No. 2033, supplied by Mason Bros., Auckland ; a 100 ft. oxygen-cylinder, painted black, brass fitting, No. 759, supplied by Mason Bros., Auckland ; a Rego oxygen gauge, type XL, No. 2, about 21 in. in diameter, brass wing-nut control; a Rego acetylene gauge, similar to oxygen gauge, registers up to 100 lb. pressure ; about 25 ft. of welding hose (twin line), one red, the other black, connected with union fitting ; a Rego welding torch, fluted barrel, made on Mongel steel, brass fitting, two regulator valves set at right angles ; a set (five) of cutting tips for welding torch, Nos. 62, 54, 48, 44, and 36 respectively; a brass head to fit Aga cuttingtorch, about 9 in. long, twin pipes, bent head ; a box containing five tips for cutting-torch, sizes 4 and 5, each about £ in. long; four gunmetal Rego cutting-heads to fit Profile machine, each about 21 in. long with stainless-steel liners, sizes LI, L2, L 3, and L 4; about 41b. of in. and | in.
