Foxton. —Winston Andrew Boag, escaping from defaulters’ camp, has been arrested by the Wellington South police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 661.)
Wellington. —Huia Kent, absent from Army and theft from dwelling, has been arrested and interviewed by the Upper Hutt police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, pages 39 and 601.) ,
Christchurch. —Ivan Raymond Charles King, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1943, page 782): On Y3Th instant the Court of Appeal varied the sentence by cancelling the term of “It years’ reformative detention.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
Christchurch. —Horace Alan Ireland, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1943, page 783) : On Tilth instant the Court of Appeal varied the sentence by cancelling the term of “ 1 year’s reformative detention.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
