Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). John Gillespie, deserting ship, has been arrested by the PonsonbjT'pcilicc. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 857.)

Auckland. Claude Hamilton Whale, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Rotorua police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 406.)

Auckland. —Edward Anderson, absent.from Navy, has been arrested by . the KaitaTa police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 664.)

Auckland. —Glendon Albert Lochead, absent from Army Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 769.)

Auckland.— George Williams, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 871.)

Putaruru. —Jack Taylor, alias Manning, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the-Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 803.)

Rotorua. — Drinnan, alias Audis Drinnan, theft, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, and lie admitted the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 633.)

— William Joseph Chalmers, inquired for, has left this Dominion, and no further action is desired. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 696.)

Waipawa. —Francis Leo Hall, default of maintenance: The warrant has been executed by the Wellington police, (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 879.)

Foxton. —Winston Andrew Boag, escaping from defaulters’ camp, has been arrested by the Wellington South police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 661.)

Wellington. —Huia Kent, absent from Army and theft from dwelling, has been arrested and interviewed by the Upper Hutt police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, pages 39 and 601.) ,

Christchurch. —Ivan Raymond Charles King, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1943, page 782): On Y3Th instant the Court of Appeal varied the sentence by cancelling the term of “It years’ reformative detention.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.

Christchurch. —Horace Alan Ireland, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1943, page 783) : On Tilth instant the Court of Appeal varied the sentence by cancelling the term of “ 1 year’s reformative detention.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.

Christchurch. — Albert Arthur, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1943, page 783) : On 10th instant the Court of Appeal varied the sentence by cancelling the term of “ 1 year’s reformative detention.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
