Christchurch. — 15th July last and 2nd August, for theft of £1 18s. 4d. in money, the property of G. McClatchie and Co., Ltd., coal merchants, 160 Hereford Street, Russell Gerald Hauschild, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 8 in., truckdriver, native of New Zealand, slight build, fresh complexion, dark hair. He was employed by complainant firm and on above dates he collected 19s. 6d. and 18s. lOd. respectively on terms requiring him to pay it to his employers, but he fraudulently omitted to do so.
