Auckland. loth July last, from a bedroom of Flat 1, 422 Manukau Road, Epsom, the property of ELSIE RANBY, an 18 ct. gold engagement ring, ' originally set with nine diamonds in platinum circular setting but one diamond is missing, centre diamond larger than others; value, £43.

Auckland. —lßth August last, from the dwelling of MARINA JEAN TAYLOR, 207 Hobson Street, a collarless full-length wallaby black fur coat, brown satin lining, three hook-and-eye fasteners in front, a pocket on each side and one inside, “ Stern’s ” on back of neck, fur noticeably worn below left elbow; a tailored navy-blue serge two-piece costume with braid trimmings, three-quarter pleated skirt back and front with one button and four dome fasteners at top, coat is lined with navy-blue silk, one button in front on a loop, three pockets ; a solid silver teapot with hinged lid, a brand in shape of a ring surrounding a flag on bottom ; and a solid silver water-jug, about 6 in. in height and 2£ in. in diameter, hinged lid, branded similarly to teapot; total value, £53. Identifiable.

Auckland. —2nd ultimo, from the dwelling of JOHN KEITH WHITE, 85a Hobson Street, a combination battery and A.C. power portable six-valve National broadcast radio, No. 78654, mottled blue leatherette case, 15 in. by 9 in. by 9 in., leather handle at top, power fittings at back of case, black coloured dial 6 in. by 3 in. vertically in front of case ; value, £3O. Identifiable.

Wairoa. —18th September last, the property of KATHLEEN WONG, Marine Parade, a ladies’ leather winecoloured hand-bag, 14 in. by 7 in., zip-fastener on top, gathered design on front, three compartments, containing a Blackbird black foifntain-pen, “.Young ” engraved on it ' in gold, gold clip broken ; an orange-coloured georgette scarf; a ladies’.Lanco silver wristlet watch, arabic numerals, black cord strap with silver fastener; and a leather small red purse with zip-fastener, containing about seven £5 notes, twenty-five £1 notes, and about £1 in silver ; total value, about £7l. Identifiable except money. On above date, at 8.30 p.m. complainant engaged a taxi to convey her from Wairoa Railway-station to her home. In Carroll Street a door of the taxi opened and she fell to the roadway. She was taken to her home and admitted to hospital later that night. On the following day it was found that her hand-bag and contents were missing.
