Whangarei.— Phillip Charles Ngatehei Winiata, absent from Army, 1 has been arrested by the military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 408.)
Devonport. — Maurice James Daley, deserting Navy Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 455.)
Auckland. Sydney Herbert Liddle, absent from Army, has been arrested by the military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 176.)
Auckland. John Alexander McKenzie, default of fine : The warrant has been executed by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 229.).
Auckland. Jim Fleming, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Kaeo and Mangonui police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 232.) y
Auckland. — Daphne May Giles, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 451.)
Auckland.- — Ronald Brooking, inquired for : No further action is desired. (See Police Gazette, 1943. page 452.)
Auckland. — William Bernard Sullivan, inquired for, is a prisoner of war in Japan, and no further action is desired. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 492.)
Papakura. — Bruce McCallum, convicted of attempted theft (see Police Gazette, 1943, page 242) : On the Ist instant this conviction was quashed, and it is to be deleted from all copies of the Police Gazette.
Thames. — Francis Stanley O’Connor, failing to maintain, lias been arrested by the Matamata police. He is identical with a man of the same name referred to in Police Gazette, 1930, page 268. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 473.)
Hamilton.— Carl Mafeking Hertz, default of fine and costs The warrant has been executed by the Mount Eden police (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 82.)
Gisborne. — William David Taylor, default of maintenance : The warrant has been executed by the Hamilton police, (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 585.)
New Plymouth. — Alan Hooten, theft, has been arrested by the Rotorua police. His correct name is Alan Stuart Wells, who .is referred to in Police Gazette, 1943, page 492. Wanganui.— Kenneth Jory Reeves, default of fine and costs : The warrant has been executed by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 439.)
Feilding. — John Boyd, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wellington South police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 679.)
Feilding. — William Vernon Hammond, referred to in Police Gazette, 1943, page 470, and Photographs, 1936, page 37, was found dead at Wellington on 20th ultimo.
Palmerston North— William Dennis Adsn, failing to report for military service, has been arrested by the Foxton police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 590.)
