MISSING.
Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). Since the 9th December last, Albert Edward Newman, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 6 in., seaman, native of New Zealand, strong build, black hair, deeply set brown eyes, scar across bridge of nose; usually dressed in a dark suit with stripes (no hat). He was a passenger on the steamer express between Lyttelton and Wellington, and was seen in the saloon at about 5 a.m. on above date, but as he was not seen to leave the ship at Wellington it is considered likely that he may have fallen overboard. Inquiry by his father, Albert Henry Newman, 80 Vermont Street, Ponsonby.
