Circular No. 3/42.] Police Motor Transport. The scale of mileage allowance to members of the Force using their motor-cars on police duty, as set out in Circular No. 6/41 (Police Gazette, 17th September, 1941, page 692), is amended to the following rates as from Ist October, 1942:

Motor-cycle rate lfd. a mile. R.A.C. rating is to be used. The mileage will be calculated from the Ist October, 1942, and each voucher for mileage allowance should show the total number/ of miles already paid for since that date.
