Christchurch. —17th August last, on warrant for theft of a bicycle (recovered), value, about £lO, the property of Frederick Roberts, 41 Diamond Avenue, Spreydon, J. Trent (name probably fictitious), age about thirty-two, height 5 ft. 8 in., good build, dark hair. The bicycle was stolen from an alley-way off Cashel Street and sold to the Gamage Cycle Co. by the above-described man.
