Wellington. l9th ultimo, on militray warrant for escaping from custody in Trentham Camp, Albert Edward Johnston, referred to in Police Gazette, 1942, page 851. When previously absent from camp without leave he assumed the name Ted Read, and worked in a shearing-shed.
