PROPERTY STOLEN.

Auckland. — On the 3rd July last, the dwelling of MARION GLADYS CHURSTAIN and ELIZABETH ANN SINCLAIR, 87 Esplanade Road, Mount Eden, was broken into and the following stolen : A gentlemen’s gold or rolled-gold hunting Waltham watch, white dial, black Roman numerals ; and a ladies’ gold dress ring, set with two salmon-pink Mediterranean corals (each about size of a pea) in, claw setting ; total value, £l3. Identifiable.

Auckland. On the 18th or 19th ultimo, the countinghouse of the KAIPARA ©AIRY CO., LTD., Helensville, was broken into, the safe opened by means of explosives, and the following stolen: Money £29 Os. 4d., made up of one £5, sixteen £l, and four 10s. notes, and the remainder in silver and coppers. Baines in favour of “ Self,” dated 15/8/42. Miscellaneous —A black tin cash-box, 10 in. by 5 in. by 3 in., with gold-coloured lines ; a gentlemen’s grey flannel blazer, size 5, “ Kaiapoi Woollen Mfg. Co.” on tag ; a gentlemen’s bottle-green sports coat with silver-coloured flecks and faint brown checks, “ Made by Kaiapoi ” on tag ; twelve pairs of gentlemen’s half-hose of various colours, Kea brand, size 11 ; six fused-silk shirts of various colours with collars attached, sizes 3 and 4; six gentlemen’s athletic locknit undervests with sleeves, Kea brand, O.S. size; six gentlemen’s locknit shorts with elastic waistbands, Kea brand, M size; a pair of gentlemen’s black box calf Monarch shoes with semi-pointed toes, size 7|-, “ 1300 ” preceding serial number in each shoe; a gross of gentlemen’s white linen handkerchiefs with fancy boarders; a gentlemen’s mid-grey woollen sleeveless pullover with V-shaped neck, M size, four rows of diamond pattern and arrow pattern at bottom ; and two 2 ft. wrecking-bars, J in. in diameter, claw at one end, chisel at other end, painted red ; total value, £7B ss. 3d. Hamilton. —On the 21st ultimo, from clothing in a dressing-room in the Waikato Hospital, the property of YVONNE SIMS wardsmaid, 52 Nixon Street, Hamilton East, a ladies’ gold oblong wristlet watch with gold-coloured Arabic numerals, “To Yvonne from Mother ”on back; and an 18 ct. gold engagement ring set with two diamonds in box setting; total value, £37 10s. Identifiable.

Wellington. the 7th February last and 15th May, from a room in Parliament Buildings, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Legislative Department), a 1928 model black Remington portable typewriter, No. 31732 ; and two white porcelain electric jugs, about quart size ; total value, £9 10s.
