DESERTERS FROM HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.

Auckland.— l7th March last, on military warrant for being absent from Mount Victoria Camp without leave, Phillip William Wallace, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 7J in., native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion and hair, brown eyes. /kMuZ.

. Auckland. 23rd ultimo, on military warrant for being absent from No. 4 Area, Hamilton, without leave, James William Scott, age fifty-three, height 5 ft. 6 in., slight build, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes.

Auckland. —Bth ultimo, on military warrant for deserting from Kaikohe Camp, Sydney Francis Waters, age forty-seven, height 5 ft. 10 in., barman, stout build, dark complexion, grey hair and eyes. He may be identical with a man of the same name referred to in Police Gazette, 1932, page 472, and Photographs, 1929, .

Wellington. Bth February last, on military warrant for deserting from Wellington College Camp, Mervyn Richard Price, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 8|- in., mechanic, slight build, medium complexion, brown hair, blue eves.

Wellington. sth instant, on Air Force warrant for being absent from R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Rongotai, without leave, Laurence Albert Manning, age forty-six, height 5 ft. 9 in., wharf labourer, Maori, medium build, copper complexion, black hair turning grey, brown eyes, flat nose, butterfly on back of left hand, clasped hands, flag, “ Aroha,” and bee on left forearm ; flags on right forearm; two scars on left arm, scar on right arm, on left leg, and on left knee.
