THE MOTOR-VEHICLES (REGISTRATION-PLATE) REGULATIONS 1934, AMENDMENT NO. 8
C. L. IST. NEWALL, Governor-General. ORDER IN COUNCIL. At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of April, 1942. Present: The Right Hon. P. Fraser presiding in Council. Pursuant to the Motor-vehicles Act, 1924, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following regulations.
REGULATIONS. 1. These regulations may be cited as the Motor - vehicles (Registration-plate) Regulations 1934, Amendment No. 8. 2. These regulations shall be read together with and form part of the Motor-vehicles (Registration-plate) Regulations 1934* (hereinafter called the principal regulations). 3. Regulation 5a of the principal regulations as inserted by Regulation 4 of the Motor-vehicles (Registration-plate) Regulations 1934, Amendment No. 7, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following paragraph : “ (c) The registration-plates affixed to private motor-cars being the property of or regularly used by a diplomatic representative of any foreign power exercising his functions in New Zealand shall in respect of markings, colours, and size be such as the Minister of Transport may from time to time direct or approve.” W. 0.
