Auckland. —l7th September last, on military warrant for being absent from North Head Camp without leave, Arthur Alfred Smith, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 11 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, dark complexion and hair, brown c^ - /CWvMfacO 2jV//&/U/.
Auckland. — loth September last, on military warrant for being absent from Ngaruawahia Camp without leave, Donald McLeod, age forty-nine, height 5 ft. 3 in., cook, medium build, fair complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, prominent nose, bad teeth, four vaccination-scars on right arm, three vaccinationscars on left arm, shrapnel-wound on right buttock and on left thigh ; Cockney accent.
Auckland. —24th August last, on military' warrant for being absent from Ngaruawahia Camp without leave, Ernest Edward Sexton, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 9 in., mill hand, native of Australia, slight build, three vaccinationscars on left arm, tattooed on chest and arms. ,
Auckland. — September last, on military warrant for being absent from Ngaruawahia Camp without leave, James Murray, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 7 in., painter, native of New Zealand, good build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes with freckles below them, scar on one buttock; a half-caste Maori. n /\ , , . , xuwmeW tL/hNi.
Auckland. —sth September last, on warrant for being absent from H.M.N.Z.S. “ Rata ” without leave, J. Byrne, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 8 in., stoker, medium build, sallow complexion, dark-brown hair, blue eyes, tattoo-marks on each forearm. He may be identical with John Byrne, referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, page 741, and he is believed to be living with Wanda Jackson, referred to in Police Gazette, 1941, page 9, and Photographs, 1931, page 66.
Christchurch.— 3rd March, 1940, on military warrant for being absent from Burnham Camp without leave, Robert Carroll Douglas, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 9£ in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, sallow complexion, auburn hair, grey eyes; usually well dressed ; erect gait. He is identical with Robert Douglas, referred to in “ Breaches of Social Security Act ” this issue. .
