Whangarei. — George Cameron, carrying on business of bookmaker and false pretences: Arthur McKeever has been interviewed by the Oamaru police, and he admitted the charges of false pretences but denied, the charge of carrying on business of bookmaker. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 431.)
Auckland.— Florence or Florrie Hardy, escaping from mental hospital, has been arrested by the Te Awamutu police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 645.)
Auckland. — Raymond Patrick Templar, breach of probation, has been located : Warrant cancelled. He assumed the name Reynolds. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 539.)
Auckland. James Macken, default of maintenance Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 540.)
Auckland. — Sydney Francis Hunter, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 259.)
Auckland. — George O’Neill, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 419.)
Auckland.— William Lowrie, alias William Mana, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Normanby police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 559.)
Thames. George Adam Anderson, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Mercer police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 495.) *
Hamilton. — Jock McLuckie, suspected of theft, has been arrested by the Wellington police. He is identical with Maxwell Andrew McLuckie. (See Police Gazette, . 1941, page 590.)
Rotorua. — H. MacDonald, false pretences, has been arrested by the Oamaru police, and he admitted the offence. He is identical with Arthur McKeever, referred to in Police Gazette, 1941, page 624. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 335.)
Napier. — William Rainey, inquired for, has been located by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. His correct name is William James Drennan, who is referred to in Police Gazette, 1936, page 555. (See Police Gazette, 1941 page 573.)
Wanganui. Alexander Wallace Copley, inquired for, has reported to the Army, and no further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 574.)
Wanganui. — Archie Taylor, inquired for, has been located by the Takapau police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 574.)
Foxton.— Frank Werefa, alias Francis Patrick O’Rourke, assault causing actual bodily harm, has been arrested by the Palmerston North police, and he admitted the offence. The wristlet watch has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 623.)
Wellington. — Gordon Smith Wilkinson, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Feilding police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 523.)
Wellington.— John Alfred Edward Strong, absent from Army: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 498.)
Wellington.— Ronald Edward Jukes, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. He assumed the name Don Austin. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 543.)
Wharf (Wellington).— Philip George Charlton or Carlton, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Ellerslie police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 590.)
Nelson. Alexander Liddle Black, failing to maintain, has been arrested by . the Mount Cook police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 623.)
