Whangarei.— Since the 17th instant, Julia Parker, age nine, height about 3 ft. 8 in., native of New Zealand, strong build, olive complexion, black hair which is buster-cut with fringe across forehead, a three-quarter-caste Maori and has Maori features, small hands and feet, weak hands and arms, permanent front teeth, physically weak and has a shuffling gait, talks intelligently, has a habit of sucking her thumb, can undress but cannot dress herself ; dressed in a Tobralco dress of red with white spots, faded pink flannel singlet, black Italian cloth bloomers, navy-blue woollen pullover with two buttons to close neck, no shoes, stockings, or hat. Fears arc entertained for her safety.
