Auckland. — Herbert Allan Bowie, hawking without license, has been served with the summons by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 317.)
Auckland.— Harry Anthony Peek, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Rotorua police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 226.)
Auckland.— John William Millar, alias Miller, default of fine and costs, lias been arrested by the Auckland police. (Sec Police Gazette, 1910, page 573.)
Auckland.- Jack Ambrose Ross, absent from t Army, has returned to camp: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 823.)
Auckland. — Heber Charles Le Bas, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Timaru police. He assumed the name Reginald Willis. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 495.)
Auckland and Christchurch. James Donald Meredith, alias Donald James Thomson, alias Donald James Jones, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Auckland police. He is now serving a sentence of one year’s R.D. for theft. (See Police Gazette, 1940, pages 576, 733, and 763.)
Auckland. — Evelyn Tangncy, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Kingsland police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 819.)
Hamilton. Frank Tulley, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Devonport police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 495.)
Hamilton. Frank Tulley, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Devonport police, and he admitted the offence. The scissors, hammer, and part of the carborundum stone have been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 600.)
Oiiura. Richard John Garden, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 183.)
New Plymouth. — Henry Ludovic Martini, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 806.)
Napier.— Egerton Thomas Branford Webster, ill-treating cow, has been arrested by. the Carlyle Street (Napier) police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 290.)
Hastings.— Eric Thomas Baldwin, inquired for, has been located by the Hastings police. (See Police Gazette, 1933, page 55.)
Hastings. — George Cuthbert Turnbull, rogue and vagabond, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 661.)
Palmerston North. — Body of child found : The mother of the child, Phyllis Neslsen, has been interviewed by the New Plymouth and Hawera police, and Cecil Roy Plumb, who performed an illegal operation on her, has been interviewed by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 837.)
Masterton. Edwin Thomas Evans, default of maintenance : The warrant has been returned to Court, and no further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 646.)
Wellington. Andrew Winston Boag, absent from Army, has been located by the Auckland police, and no further action is to be taken. He assumed the names Cyril Brewer and Cyril Brown. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 562.)
Wellington. — David iVScGrory, absent from Army, has returned to camp : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 782.)
Wellington. — Gordon Leslie Percy Burt, absent from Army, has returned to camp: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 809.)
Wellington. — Keith William Dyer, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1940, page 716): The offence as recorded is incorrect and should read, “ attempted indecent assault on a male.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
Kilbirnie. — Kathleen lanes, missing, has been located by the Palmerston North police. She assumed the name Yvonne Bennett, (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 823.)
Picton. — Heber Charles Le Bas, alias Don Butler, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Timaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 809.)
Blenheim. — William Trengrove, missing, lias been found drowned. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 840.)
Christchurch— Stephen John iYlcGiiiigan, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Timaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 820.)
Christchurch. — Jack Kerr, absent from Army : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 809.)
Christchurch.-- John McLean, alias McKenzie, inquired for, has been interviewed by the National Park police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 442.)
Christchurch.— Leon Lewis, default of costs, has paid the amount to the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 806.)
Ashburton.— Robert Angus, alias Roberts, breach of probation, is now on service overseas, and no further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 494.)
Wat mate.- --William Bremner, failing to maintain: The warrant has been executed by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 316, and 1940, page 686.)
Gore.— William Howard McGuire, obtaining credit by fraud, has been arrested by the Timaru police, and he admitted the offence. He is identical with Earls William Shilton, referred to in Police Gazette, 1940, page 302. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 838.)
