His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Sub-Inspector Edward John Carroll, and Sub-Inspector Daniel Joseph O’Neill to be Inspectors ; and Senior Detective William Higgins Dunlop, Senior Sergeant Gerald Harry Lambert, and Senior Detective Sydney Grainger Hall to be Sub-Inspectors, in the New Zealand Police Force, the appointment in each case to take effect on and from Ist August, 1940.
