Dargaville.— Frederic Ranata Nickless, missing, has been located by the Onehunga police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 540.)
Auckland.— Alice Swanson, referred to in Police Gazette, 1927, page 783, died at Auckland on the 24th ultimo.
Auckland.— Daniel Wilkinson Walker, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Mount Eden police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 314.)
Auckland. —H. V. Mulhoiland, inquired for, has been located by the Freeman’s Bay police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 117.)
Auckland.— William Murray, inquired for, died in the Dunstan Hospital, Clyde, on the 10th ultimo. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 516.)
Auckland.— Howard Dunn, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Ngaruawahia police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 537.)
Auckland.— James Henry D’Arcy, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Trentham police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 573.)
Auckland.— Gross Dickenson, alias William Goss Dickenson, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 573.)
Auckland. John or Jack Story, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Balmoral police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 574.)
Auckland.— Chung Kow Dan, assault with intent to commit rape. His dead body was recovered from the Waitemata Harbour on the 2nd instant. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 589.)
Auckland.— Dempsey, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Sydenham police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, Page 605.)
Rotorua.— Jack Sioane, suspected of theft, has been arrested by the Wellington police. He is identical with John Patrick Hardy. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 560.)
Wanganui— Richard William Gower, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 376.)
Palmerston North.— James Carnegie, theft, has been arrested by the Wellington police. He assumed the name James Latham. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 538.)
Levin. — Thomas King, alias O’Brien, alias Daigety, default of fines and costs, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 978.)
Wellington. Richard George Osburn, default of main tenance : The warrant has been returned to Court unexecuted (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 558.)
Wharf (Wellington). Patrick Joseph Bresiin, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 410.)
Blenheim. — Richard Victor Dallman, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 516.)
Christchurch. Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association, franking-machine stolen : Henry Herbert Pearce, referred to in Police Gazette, 1937, page 853, has admitted this offence to the Christchurch police, and he stated that he threw the franking-machine into the Waimakariri River. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 225.) •
