Whangaroa. —Toetoe Waironga, referred to in Police Gazette, 1936, page 77, and Photographs, 1930, page 22, committed suicide at Ngataki on the 14th ultimo.

Whangarei. W. Baker, false pretences, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. He is identical with Edwin Samuel Bosher, referred to in Police Gazette, 1931, page 546. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 849.)

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). Wilfred Francis Tomlinson, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 885.)

Foxton.—Peter McCombie, alias Cointreaux, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Upper Hutt police, but the cornet has not been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 620.)

Wellington. — Emil Kylamanen, unlawfully entering New Zealand, has been located by the Wataroa police, and no further action is to be taken. His correct name is Emil Steen. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 368.)

Mosgiel. Albert James Holderness, default of fine and costs, has. been arrested by the Dunedin police. His correct name is James Albert Kean, and he is identical with A. J. Keane referred to on preceding page. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 783.) :
