• Whang arei. — Henry Brady, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Waiuku police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 155.)
Auckland. — Lindsay Nelson Coles, referred to in Police Gazette, 1938, page 160, died at Auckland on the 15th March last.
Auckland.— Spencer Furnell Pemberthy, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Waihi police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 289.)
Auckland. — McDowell, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Kaitaia police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 367.)
Auckland. Unidentified body found (see Police Gazette, 1939, page 981) : The body has been identified as that of Thomas Kemp, referred to in the following paragraph.
Mount Cook (Wellington). Thomas Kemp, missing, was found dead in Auckland Domain. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 63.)
Hamilton. — Raymond Edward Hill, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Te Kuiti police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 367.)
Hamilton.—Alice Elizabeth Hamilton and Lloyd Moran murdered : Douglas Herbert Cartman has been arrested for these offences by the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 313.)
Putaruru. Thomas Moran Bolton, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Auckland and Taihape police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 371.)
Ruatoria. — Miromiro Pani Ruka, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1940, page 360): The sentence “14 days ” should read “21 days.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
Napier. Victor Peters, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Danncvirke police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 290.)
Wanganui.— Eric Howard Jarvis, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 117.)
Palmerston North. — Francis Thomas Kennedy, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Blenheim police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 926.)
Greytown.- Norris Frank Marshall, convicted of being intoxicated in charge of a motor-car (see Police Gazette, 1939, page 328): The disqualification imposed on him under the Motor-vehicles Act has been removed as from the 6th instant.
Wellington.— Vernon Rudman, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears into Court. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 290.)
Wellington.— Clifford Seymour Dixon, summons for: The summons has been served by the Hastings police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 156.)
