Wanganui. — l3th ultimo, on warrant for false pretences, H. Harrison, who may be identical with Harold Richardson Kerr, referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, page 978, and Photographs, 1937, page 34. He was wearing light-grey trousers and light-coloured tweed overcoat of heavy material. Accused obtained £4 ss. from William Kennedy, 274 Somme. Parade, Aromoho, by falsely representing that two tablets of deodorizing disinfectant was a borer exterminator. He may be identical with G. Anderson, referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, page 965. A.bo«t 10 p.m. on above date accused induced complainant, Who was leaving a party in the Salvation Army HalLyto .ride wi th him on his bicycle to a reserve in Cliff Read, where— be assaulted her. He was subsequently arrested for the offence and remanded to 4th instant, but/he escaped, from the lock-up about 7.30 p.m. on the 3rd. He is now said to have the following tattoomarks, &c. : Thistle on right wrist, woman’s head in circle, trapeze figure and dancing girl on right forearm, scar on left little finger.
