He is usually well dressed in a bluey-grey suit of sports type (no hat). He failed to appear at the Court on the Bth instant in answer to summonses, and he may endeavour to leave this Dominion.

Petone.— l7th March last, on warrant for false pretences, W. Walker (name probably fictitious), age about forty, height about 5 ft. 8 in., medium build, tanned complexion, dark-brown hair, several front upper teeth missing; usually dressed in a dark suit and dark felt hat. Accused obtained a cheque for £1 19s. from George Reginald Stanley Grether, grocer, Eastbourne, by falsely representing that he owned an orchard at Hastings, and would supply fruit and vegetables ordered and paid for by complainant.
