Auckland. —13th April last, on warrant for a breach of his probation (Crimes Amendment Act, 1910), Charles Mozart Spinley, referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, pages 88 and 391, and Photographs, 1930, page 8. He has failed to Auckland. Betwe4n'the Ist September and 22nd November last, that he may be located and interviewed regarding his having obtained credit to the amount of £135 17s. 3d. from Fisher and Paykel, Ltd., radio dealers, Anzac Avenue, by fraud, George Wallace Gleddon Richardson, age twentyeight, height 5 ft. 1\ in., radio dealer and salesman, native of New Zealand, medium build, pale complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes, small moustache ; well spoken ; good appearance ; frequents expensive hotels and spends freely. He obtained a number of radio-sets from the complainant firm and assigned them to Private Trusts, Ltd., Auckland, failing to pay the moneys received to Fisher and Paykel, Ltd. The following described radio-sets have not been traced: Four five-valve Crossley motor-car radio-sets, Nos. D. 9395, E. 8420, 1413180/D. 18200, 4081599/E. 8387 ; and a fivevalve all-electric Pilot radio chassis, No. 85571/E. 11874: total value, £39 10s. Identifiable. Accused left for Australia on the 13th April last. If he returns to this Dominion he is to be interviewed, but the file is to be obtained from the Superintendent of Police, Auckland, before doing so. Accused, who booked a room in the Armadale Private. Hotel, obtained £4 12s. 6d. cash from Lillian Foster, hotel employee, by means of a valueless cheque for £5, No. V. 97982, drawn on the Bank of New Zealand, Auckland, in favour of J. Cook, and signed P. Ryan. The cheque is from the cheque-book of Harold Raymond Anderson, estate agent, Swanson Street, Auckland, which was stolen from his office on or about the 12th April last, and which is referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, page 349, in the notice regarding P. Ryan. No warrant.

Rotorua. Bth ultimo, on warrant for false pretences, Jack Carsen, alias Murray, alias A. E. Cochrane. (names probably fictitious), age about fifty, height about 5 ft. 5 in., medium build, blear-eyed ; dressed in brown trousers and fawn sports coat, or a grey suit and light felt hat. Accused obtained two hundred shrubs, value £3 55., and £1 15s. in money from William Harold McHale, florist, Tutanekai Street, by means of a valueless cheque for £5, No. 246294, drawn on the Bank of New Zealand, Rotorua North, dated 6th May, 1939, and signed A. E. Cochrane. He may be identical with F. Murray and J. Murry, referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, page 391, and with W.
