PROPERTY STOLEN.

Auckland. 3lst July last, from a motor-car outside St. Mary’s Church, Parnell Road,-the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Broadcasting Department), a crystal microphone unit, nickel-plated, rectangular shell of metal gauze, \ in. band of thin metal around shell attaching it to metal fitting at one end, “ Brush ” stamped on metal band, shell about 5 in. by 2 in. by 1 in., interior composed of sixteen crystal elements which are held in position with felt padding; and between the 17th August and 18th September last, from IZ.M. studio, Shortland Street, a Universal Velocity microphone, about 5 in. by 2| in. by 1 in., casing of enamelled metal with chromium grille in front and lugs, V-swivel mounting : total value, £4O. Identifiable.

Auckland. Between the 27th and 29th September last, from the farm of RUDOLPHS GUNTREN, Dairy Flat, Takapuna, a five-year-old red Jersey-Shorthorn cow with dark-red face, dehorned, “24 ” in acid brand on rump, shield and “ T ” on inside right ear, “ J. 298 Z.” on inside left year ; and a ten- or eleven-year old dark brindle cow, “9” in acid brand on right rump, “Z.A.E. 4 ” on inside one ear. Both cows were due to calve about the time they were stolen : total value, £3O. Identifiable.

Auckland. —On the 20th ultimo, the dwelling of AGNES ABSOLUM, 28 Elizabeth Street, Mount Eden, was broken into and the following stolen: A ladies’ jet bangle, 1 in. wide, thin strip of gold on each edge and wider strip of gold on top which is set with three rows of light blue stones (three stones in each row), sliding clip-fastener ; a ladies’ gold two-bar brooch, each bar 2 in. long and J in. wide, and is joined at each end with small gold fern, amethyst set in centre between bars, gold pin at back; and ten threepenny pieces : total value, £3 2s. 6d. Identifiable except money.

Auckland. — On the 30th ultimo, the dwelling of MAUDE JAKINS, 16 St. Stephen’s Avenue, Parnell, was broken into and the following, the property of Letitia Harriette Parker, stolen : An 18 ct. gold muff-chain about 5 ft. long, with miniature ivory elephant attached; an 18 ct. gold brooch in form of clover leaf, surface of which is set with pearls, gold pin at back ; an 18 ct. gold tie-pin, set with a pearl; a greenstone mere about 2-| in. long, made to affix to watchchain; a ladies’ 18 ct. gold bangle, made in fine gold chain sections about 1 in. wide, each section divided by a blue stone in gold setting, clasp is solid gold about 1 in. square, set with a monogram of plaited human hair ; a ladies’ upper denture plate, made of either 18 ct. or 22 ct. gold; a ladies’ 18 ct. gold mourning ring, set with a black stone with chipped diamonds surrounding it; and a ladies’ silver band ring, set with a pearl with brilliants surrounding it : total value, £36 15s. Identifiable.

Morrinsville. —Between the 6th July last and 25th ultimo, from the Drill Hall, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Defence Department), a -455 calibre six-chambered Webley revolver, No. 347; value, about £2. Identifiable. ftf- /• V-A/

Putaruru. 2lst instant, from a motor-car in Princes Street, the property of DR. GRAHAM CAMPBELL MACDIARMID, a stethoscope ; a diagnostic set in case ; a hypodermic syringe ; six hypodermic needles a percussion hammer ; two pairs of scissors ; two pairs of forceps ; two rubber catheters ; a packet of strychnine in tablet form ; a packet of morphine in tubes; a box of lobelin ampoules; a box of pituitirn ampoules; a bottle of adrenalin; a bottle of diamorphine solution ; a roll of adhesive plaster; a bottle of Black and White whisky ; and a brown cowhide handbag, 18 in. by 9 in. by 10 in., brown stains on inside : total value, £ls Is. 6d. Portion identifiable.

National Park. —llth September last, from the lounge of the Chateau Tongariro, the property of MAY ANASTASIA THOMSON, Levin, a black pyramid-shaped suede purse; a cheque-book on the Bank of Australasia, No. 560281 to 560310; a Waterman fountain-pen; a watch combining brooch and fob of diamante, round, black enamelled back with small pink flowers thereon; a small purse containing about £2 in money; a blue square imitation butterfly compact; and some perfume, rouge, &c. : total value, £l3 Bs.
