Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). William Stafford, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Ellerslie police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 55.)

Takapuna. Murdoch John Matheson, failing to maintain Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 301.)

Auckland. — Frederick Fergusson Bishop, failing to maintain : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 302.)

Auckland. — Ivan Slakich, default of maintenance : The warrant has been executed by the Mount Eden police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 479.)

Auckland. — John Joseph Cox, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Papakura police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 503.)

Hamilton. Tim Reihana, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 503.)

Gisborne. — Michael George Nelson, theft, has been arrested by the Wellington police, and admits the offences. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 503.)

Hastings. Edgar Lawrence Gigg, false pretences, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 462.)

Wanganui. Frederick Rayburn Jeffcoate, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Taihape police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 520.)

Palmerston North. — Trevor Mervyn Shaw, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 504.)

Palmerston North. William Charles Norman, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1938, page 445): The declaration of habitual criminal has been cancelled. All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.

Shannon. — Hetty Clark, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 694.)

Lower Hutt. Walter Vivian Roberts, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 504.)

Wellington.— Helen MacLachlan and Clara Margaret Bradley, dwellings broken into: Ashley Maurice Deuchrass and Irvine Davis McEwen, referred to in Police Gazette, 1938, page 442, have admitted the offences to the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 443.)
