Devonport. — Robert Neil Stewart, deserting Navy, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 400.)
DEvoNroßT.— John William Frederick Reginald Wellman, deserting Navy: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 771.)
Auckland. — Rogers, theft, has been arrested by the Auckland police, but the overcoat has not been recovered. He is identical with Thaddeus Edward Doody, referred to in Police Gazette, 1937, page 457. (Sec Police Gazette, 1937, page 631.)
Auckland. — Richard Godfrey Copley, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Gonville police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 769.)
Tolaga Bay.—Charles Henry Hough, missing: On the 23rd ultimo an inquest was held at Auckland and the following verdict was returned : The deceased lost his life at sea from the ship “Pukeko,” there being no evidence available as to cause of death.” The body has not been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 737.)
Gisborne. — Joseph Patrick IVSorcan, unlawfully supplying liquor to Natives, has been served with the summons by the Dannevirke police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 754.)
Gisborne. Keith Harold English, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 769.)
Taumarunui.Jeremiah Murphy, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Kaponga police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 703.)
Wairoa. — John Raymond Hammond, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Oamaru police. His correct name is John Reynolds Hammond. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 785.)
New Plymouth.— George Joseph Pulford, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Freeman’s Bay police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 680.)
Wellington. — J. Graham, alias Frank Caldicott, theft, has been arrested by the Pahiatua police. He is identical with Patrick Michael O’Sullivan, alias Lance Carswell Carroll. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 802.)
Wellington. —The sentence of two years R.D. recorded against Edward Martin, alias Doyle, in Police Gazette, 1937, page 813, has been varied to “ one year’s R.D.” (Wn. 30/11/37.)
Wharf (Wellington). — David Alexander Sharp, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 644.)
Wharf (Wellington). — Heaney, absent from ship, has been arrested by the Greymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 802.)
Blenheim. — Burton, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 204.)
Kaiapoi.—Hori Turia, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Raetihi police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 664.)
Ashburton.- John McCullough Forsyth, alias John Page, false pretences, has been arrested by the Auckland police (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 802.)
