Since the 11th instant, James Wallis, age about fifty, height about 5 ft. 6 in., gum-digger, native of New Zealand, strong build, dark-brown hair turning grey and going bald, blue eyes, dark-brown moustache; dressed in Palmer nap trousers, black flannel, and hob-nailed boots (no hat); probably in possession of a blade razor. He is afflicted with religious mania, and fears are entertained for his safety. ///'l 3 7-
Napier. Since the 7th ultimo, Ella Margaret Baird, age forty, height about 5 ft. 4 in., school-teacher, native of New Zealand, slight build, speaks rather quickly well dressed ; said to be suffering from goitre, and she expressed her intention to go into a hospital for treatment. She is slightly mentally unbalanced, and the Education Board granted her sick leave in June last. She stays at hotels and leaves without paying for her accommodation. When located the Inspector of Police, Napier, is to be notified so that he may forward the file, as it is desired that she be interviewed regarding a breach of the Chattels Transfer Act committed in respect of a Morris Minor motor-car (8 h.p., engine No. 14053, chassis No. 14155, registration No. 56,352) which she was in possession of when last seen. nsOme/ /2j///gtf
