Devonport.— Reginald Lehaore Flack, deserting Navy, has been arrested by the Kohimarama police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 464.)
Devonport. — William Hill, deserting Navy, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 721.)
Auckland.— Richard Parker, obtaining credit by fraud, has been interviewed by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) and Helensville police, and admits the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 369.)
Auckland. — Walter Morris, failing to maintain : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 176.)
Auckland. John Donald Stewart, alias Alexander McDonald, inquired for, has paid the amount to the Department of Labour, and no further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 475.)
Auckland.E. C. Bell, false pretences, has been arrested by the Auckland police, and the carpet and carpet runner have been recovered. He is identical with Alfred Burgess, referred to in Police Gazette, 1936, page 239. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 753.)
Auckland. Robert Ernest Larkin, alias John George Johnson, false pretences, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 754.)
Wanganui.—George Wilson, indecent assault on a male, has been arrested by the Ohakune police. He is identical with Erasmus Arthur Jones, alias Arthur Edward Jones. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 785.)
Palmerston North. — Jock Allen, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Wanganui police, but no evidence resulted. His correct name is John Lewis Allen. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 141.)
Palmerston North. James Albert Sutcliffe, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Hastings police.''‘(See Police Gazette, 1937, page 664.)
Wellington.— Leon Francis Carvell, failing to maintain, died at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (Australia) on the Bth ultimo. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 717.)
Greymouth.—Lance Barter, alias Anderson, unlawfully converting motor-car, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. His correct name is Lance Irwin Anderson. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 720.)
Gore.— Pierpont Slater, inquired for, has paid his registration levies, and no further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 692.)
