PROPERTY RECOVERED.

Auckland.— ZEALAND GOVERNMENT’S (Defence Department) machine-gun and spare parts, with the exception of the cleaning-rod and spare-part box, have been found in a creek at the head of the Whau River, near Portage Road. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 495.)

Auckland.—VEßNON STUART HALPIN’S blazer has been recovered by the Te Aroha police, and Harold Joseph Grant, alias William Harold Grant, charged with the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 577.)

Taihape. — GRAY’S horses have been found, not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 591.)

Masterton.— ENA ISABELLA FINLAYSON’S bicycle has been found. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 577.)

Wellington.— COßNELlUS VINCENT O’NEILL’S theodolite has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1933, page 240.)

Christchurch.— HEW T SON’S bicycle has been recovered by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 496.)

Dunedin.ETHEL HORSBURGH’S blankets have been recovered by the Te Kuiti police, and Mervyn Joseph Doe arrested for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 568.)
