Freeman’s Bay. —Since the 4th December last, Richard Grant, age about forty-five, height about 5 ft. 10 in., sugarworker, dark complexion, grey hair, blue eyes; dressed in a dark-grey suit, collar and tie, and black shoes (no hat). South Dunedin. Since the 23rd ultimo, Clara Leighton, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 4 in., married, native of New Zealand, slight build dark hair, blue eyes, sharp features; may be wearing a brown cloth overcoat, blue and black beret, and brown flat-heeled shoes with crepe soles; nervous disposition. She left her fourteen-months-old child with Mrs. Inglis, 18 David Street, Caversham, and also left a note for her husband stating that she intended to commit suicide.
