SPECIAL NOTICE.

Murder. Timaru.— On the 24th ultimo, the dead body of a newborn male child, wrapped in a towel and tied to a brick was found in the Taumatakahu creek at Winchester. A postmortem examination revealed that the child had breathed, and that death was due to asphyxiation. Every effort is to be made to obtain information calculated to afford a clue to the identity of the parents.
