• ♦ Levin.27th ultimo, from Weraroa Training Farm, Clifford John Shortcliffe, age sixteen, height 5 ft. 11 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, dark complexion and hair, grey eyes, scar on left cheek, sharp features ; dressed in dark tweed shorts, blue Denim coat, and black boots, and stockings. He is suspected of having stolen the following bicycle, the property of Guy Blenkhorn : A gentlemen’s old black-enamelled 8.5. A., 22-in. frame, John Bull tires, dent in top bar, acetylene lamp attached, value £4. Identifiable. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 603.) / ■ / Wellington. 2nd instant, Francis McGrath, age fourteen (looks younger), height 4 ft. 8 in., freckled complexion, brown hair and eyes, large curved scar on forehead ; in possession of an attache-case containing clothing. He was living with his parents at 66 Owen Street, when he escaped. If located he is to be returned to the care of the Child Welfare Depart-.,..77b-tz/tkr.
