The above is a photograph of John Wilfred Brown, whose description is as follows : English, born 1896, 5 ft. 6| in. high, about 11 st. weight, brown hair, blue eyes, small scar on forehead. This man, who styles himself “ Doctor ” J. W. Brown, “ an English chemist,” promotes the flotation of companies for the manufacture of artificial silk from vegetable products, disappearing when he gets an allotment of shares. Should he return to this Dominion from Australia, the fact is to be reported^to the, Cojnmissioner’s Office. (P.32/479.) fo-rcttvd 7-7/7/b^-rs.
Incorrect Photographic Reference. The photographic reference, “ 1926, page 89,” appended to the record of conviction of James William Tasman Morris, in Police Gazette, 1932, pages 172 and 339, is incorrect, and is to be deleted from all copies of the Police Gazette.
