Auckland. the 16th and 23rd March last, from 77 Arney Road, the property of DAVID ROGERS, 7 Warrington Road, Remuera, a copper gas-califont, Davis make, Shamrock brand, No. 672 ; value, £7 10s. Identifiable.

Coromandel. 26th March last, from a motor-car in Kapanga Road, the property of BARNABY RICHARD WILD, Raetihi, a Standard Agfa camera, size 3J in. by 21, in. film, No. E.Z. 530, lens No. S. 0205 f, in black leather case, with “B. R.” or “A. S. Wild” on inside; value, £5 10s. Identification doubtful.

Between the 18th and 19th ultimo, the shop of the FARMERS’ TRADING CO., LTD., Otorohanga, was broken into and the following stolen: A ladies’ brown leatherite hat-box; a gentlemen’s navy-blue nap overcoat, size 5, “Farmers’ Trading Company, Auckland” on tab; a pair of gentlemen’s Bostock boots, size 9 ; twelve gentlemen’s handkerchiefs, may be branded “ Sheykh ” ; a number of gentlemen’s ties, socks, &c. : total value, £lO. Wellington. —On the sth instant, the dwelling of LEON DE MAUNY, 290 Oriental Parade, was broken into and the following stolen: A crossed cheque for £3 13s. 6d. on the Bank of New South Wales, Courtenay Place, No. A. 020045, drawn by W. Mason, and payable to Leon de Mauny; three postal-notes for £1 each, Nos. -010477, 010478, and 010479; a'.postal-note for 35., No. B. 281770; a gold watch-chain with fine links, about 18 in. long, with rolled-gold watch attached (broken); an 18 ct. gold ring, set with large blue sapphire, and large diamond set on cross, with three small diamonds on each side in claw setting ; an 18 ct. gold ring set with a diamond in claw setting; a 9 ct. gold ring, set with a diamond in centre of silver bar; a gold ring, set with a square emerald with small diamonds around it in millegrain setting; and about £5 in money : total value, £45. Greymouth.— »26th March last, from the jockey’s room at Om’otb Racecourse, the property of REGINALD JAMES MACKIE, jockey, Trentham, a pair of field-glasses, Kershaw make, No. 6x, black leather covering, broad arrow on each barrel, slight crack on. left rim of eye-piece ; value, £2O. . Greymouth. —Between the Bth and 21st January last, from a room in Revington’s Hotel, the property of ESTHER STEWART, a ladies’ 9 ct. gold Craven wristlet-watch, 15 jewels, with gold expanding wristlet attached ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Timaru. — Between the 14th and 15th instant, the Majestic Theatre, the property of FULLER-HAYWARD THEATRE CORPORATION, LTD., was broken into and the following stolen, the property of HENRY JOSEPH KENNEDY, a •32 calibre six-chambered revolver, No. 3198 ; and a -32 calibre five-chambered Bulldog revolver, made by Harrington and Richardson; value, £2. Identifiable.

Dunedin. Between the 18th and 19th ultimo, from a shed, the property of EDMUND THOMAS RUSSELL, farmer, Harvey’s Flat, Outram, a double-barrelled breech-loading 12-gauge shot-gun, No. 215, “ A. & W. McCarthy, Makers,” on barrel; a single-barrelled breech-loading 12-gauge shotgun, Nos. 171 and 444, Harrington and Richardson make; and a number of cartridges: total value, £9 14s. Guns identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Owen David Helm, referred to in Police Gazette, 1931, page 609, and Photographs, page 71. He has been interviewed but no evidence resulted.
