In Dominion Road accused indecently exposed himself to Kathleen O’Connor. He can be identified. Ko warrant.

Auckland. — 15th ultimo, for indecent exposure, Man (name unknown), age about twenty-five, height about 5 ft. 8 in., slight build, fair complexion and hair; dressed in white trousers, blue and white striped blazer, and white sandshoes. In a paddock at Grey Lynn accused indecently exposed himself to schoolgirls. No warrant.

Auckland. — 16th instant, that he may be located and compelled to refund to the Labour Department 6s. 2d. advanced on the 4th November last to enable him to go to Karangahake, Waiter Leonard Smith, age twenty, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of England, fresh complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes, scar over right eye. Te Puke. lßth December last, on warrant of commitment to Whakatane Prison for three days in default of paying £1 ss. fine and costs for riding a motor-bicycle which was not equipped with a proper warning device, Alfred Burmin height 5 ft. 6 in., motor mechanic, native of New,Zealand, medium build, dark hair and comple^ppn. //o/f is Gisborne. — Curtis, false pretences : It has been ascertained by the Wellington police that he is identical with Edmund Marriott, referred to in Police Gazette, 1929, page 351, and Photographs, 1926, page 55, and is now in Sydney (Australia). At about 10 p.m. on above date Robert Stewart, age ninety, who lives alone at Coal Creek, opened the door of his dwelling in answer to a knock, whereupon he was seized by two men, who bound his feet and hands and robbed him of the following property : A brown leather purse containing a £lO note, three £5 notes, ten £1 notes, about 10s. in silver, and a cheque for £1 19s. 6d. on the National Bank of New Zealand, Greymouth, No. N. 11958, drawn on the 12th February, 1932, in favour of T. Green, signed “ John Guy ” : total value, £3B - 4s. 6d. Purse and cheque only identifiable. Complainant’s son, who arrived on the scene, was also violently assaulted. The offenders then decamped, leaving behind them a navy-blue gabardine Ledux overcoat, double-breasted, with belt, size 5, two small holes in front near right shoulder, small hole burned between second and third button on left side, “ Garment guaranteed Made in England ” and trade-mark Swan sitting on man’s head —on it. Accused, who was employed as canvasser for James Johnston and Co., booksellers, Dunedin, obtained £1 19s. 6d. from Eric Gray, merchant, Kaiapoi, by falsely representing that he had authority from his employers to collect the amount;.
