POLICE EXAMINATIONS, 1931.
In submitting the result of the Police Examinations published hereunder the Examination Board observes that “ on the whole the results this year are disappointing, and in many cases a lack of close study was apparent. For the rank of Sub-Inspector five candidates failed to obtain the required percentage. For the rank of Senior-Sergeant five candidates were unsuccessful, and for the rank of Sergeant fourteen candidates were unsuccessful. The marks gained by some of the successful candidates were high, indicating that with closer study the majority of those who failed could have shown better results.”
