Otahuhu. —Ist instant, that proceedings for failing to notify his change of abode (Arms Act) may be instituted against him, Ernest Brown. On the 17th February, 1922, he registered a pair of muzzle-loading pist marked “IT ” and “ 111 ” respectively on trigger-guard.

Hamilton. On or about the 2nd ultimo, that he may be interviewed regarding theft from the Windsor Hotel, Frankton, of'a suit-case (recovered) and a pair of, gentlemen’s shoes, value £4 10s., the property of Robert Ferguson, railwayman, Vincent Greenwood, alias Jameson, alias Ormond, age about twenty-four, height 5 ft. 10 in., labourer, medium build, fair complexion, dark hair, full round face ; dressed in light flannel trousers, light felt hat, and military overcoat dyed blue. On the night of the 3rd ultimo a man who gave the name Jameson, and who is believed to be the above-named, stayed at the Windsor Hotel, Frankton. Next day he was seen carrying a suit-case similar to that stolen. Complainant’s suit-case has recovered at 'a. pawnshop. No warrant. New Plymouth. —Between the 14th August last and 17th ultimo, on warrant for theft of £l3, the property of Coal Oil (N.Z.), Ltd., Roy Soften, age about thirty-five, height 5 ft. 5 in., accountant, native of Australia, medium build, sallow complexion, lump on left side of neck, clean-shaved ; wearing a dark-grey suit and fawn slouch hat. Dannevirke. —On or about the 20th July last, on warrant for theft of a cheque for £3 2s. 6d., the property of the Tamaki Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., Te Rehunga, Sid Rodgers, age forty-one, height 5 ft. 7 in., cook, native of England, medium build, fresh complexion, fair hair, grey eyes. Wellington. 23rd ultimo, on warrant for failing to maintain his wife, Maud Harriet Wiles, William Wiles, age fifty, height 5 ft. 8 in., engineer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, fair hair, grey eyes, straight nose. His photograph is filed. ///5/31/

Wellington. 29th August last, on warrant for false pretences, Kenneth Frank Ingram, age about twenty-one, height about ft. OJin., native of New Zealand, good build, fresh complexion, light-coloured, hair, blue eyes, clean-shaved, square features,; dressed' JW d brown suit and light-grey tweed ov&pGoal'fmrbtrt?!; Iraid of dancing. Accused obtained £6 9s. 9d. from Geof§&-Asilfred Oliver, salesman for Littlejohn and Son, jewellers, Lambton Quay, by means of a valueless cheque for £6 10s., on the Bank of Australasia, Upper Hutt, No. A 37943. The cheque was from a cheque-book stolen from Ruhe Simeon Elegeltaub, 89 Apu Crescent, with whom accused stayed from the 24th to 29tfe August last. There are other charges pending / g// d ~

Between the 18th December and the 4th August last, on warrant for theft of £27 ss. 6d.the property of the Waiohine River Board, Greytown, Thomas Watsan Wade, age forty -five, height 5 ft. 4 in., clerk and electrician, native of England, medium build, sallow complexion, darkbrown hair going bald, grey eyes, small round features ; dressed in a dark-grey suit, tan shoes (no hat), and usually wears a soft collar.
