MISSING.

Wanganui. William Young and William Emmery missing. Portion of the mast of the launch “ Scotia ” in which these men went to sea was found on the coast near Kai Iwi on the 15th instant. It is therefore feared that the launch was wrecked and the men drowned. The police are to be on the alert to discover any further wreckage along the coast, and also to keep a sharp lookout for the bodies. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 421.)
