MISSING.
Wanganui. —Since the 16th ultimo, William Young, age forty-five, height 5 ft. 7 in., fisherman and labourer, native of New Zealand, good build, clean-shaved; dressed in a blue suit and brown jersey: and William Emmery, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 7 in., fisherman, medium build, scar on right hip, lame on right leg; uses walking-stick ; a Maori; wearing overalls. They left Wanganui in the launch “ Scotia ” to go fishing along the west coast of the North Island, and fears are entertained for their safety. The launch is described as—-33 ft. long, 8 ft. beam, painted grey, registration No. W.G.N. 93 on how, equipped with 16-horse-power Gardiner engine and double set of sails.
- Petone. —Since the 7th May last, William . Peter Wells, age about sixteen, height 5 ft. 8 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, strong build, fair complexion and hair, blue eyes; dressed in a dark tweed suit (short trousers), dark tweed overcoat, black boots and stockings (no hat). Inquiry by his father, Francis Martin Wells, 24 Emerson Street.
