New Lynn. 2nd ultimo, the property of ALEXANDER GREGORY FINN, wood and coal merchant, Great North Road, a gentlemen’s green-enamelled bicycle, red patch on front tire, square rubber pedals ; value £2 10s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached McKenzie (name probably fictitious), age about twelve, height 4 ft., small build, fair complexion and hair ; wearing a grey jersey and dark tweed trousers. The suspect called at complainant’s' yard and obtained the loan of the bicycle to go to Avondale, and failed to return it.

Onehunga. Between the 11th and 12th ultimo, from 8 Catherine Street, the property of WILLIAM BLOOMFIELD, a motor pump with “ Sun Motor Cycle ” branded on it; and a -22 calibre single-shot semi-automatic Bayard pea-rifle, No. 105491 : total value, £2 12s. 6cl/ Identifiable.

Wellington. —On the 2nd ultimo, the dwelling of CLAUDE ALEXANDER SMITH, 147 Hanson Street, was broken into and the following stolen ; A gentlemen’s gold open-face wrist-watch, with “ W.G.” on back of case ; and £l2 in money ; total value, £ls 10s. Watch only identifiable.

Wellington. —Between the 24th and 25th April last, the premises of WRIGHT AND CARMAN, printers, Vivian Street, were broken into and the following stolen : A cashbox, size 8 in. by 5 in., containing a cheque for £2 on the Bank of New Zealand, Te Aro, No. C. 405235, drawn by S. V. Walker in favour of Wright and Carman, dated 30th April; sixteen one-section Wellington Tramways’ concession tickets, Nos. Invercargill. —On the night of the 2nd ultimo, the dwelling of DAVID JAMES WESNEY, 18 Thompson Street, was broken into and the following stolen : A ladies’ gold expanding wristlet-watch, with “ M.M.W. 30/9/30 ” on back of case ; a ladies’ gold dress ring, set with a sapphire ; and a pale-blue heavy crepe de Chine shawl about 54 in. square; total value, £ll 12s. 6d. Identifiable.

Invercargill. —Between the 28th ultimo and Ist instant, from 2 Albert Street, the property of ALINE ROBERTS, a silver jewel-case (lined with pink satin ; size about 10 in. long, 2 in. deep, and 3 in. broad ; on four small legs about l in. high) containing a ladies’ 18 ct. gold engagement-ring set with five diamonds (large diamond in centre with two small diamonds on each side) in claw setting; a ladies’ 18 ct. gold dress ring set with three pearls in shape of a heart with small diamonds on outside of pearls ; a ladies’ 18 ct. gold wedding-ring; an 18 ct. gold band keeper ring; a ladies’ 18 ct. gold dress ring set with five stones (may be emeralds), large stone in centre with two small stones on each side, in claw setting ; a gentlemen’s 18 ct. gold signet ring, small size, with large green stone in centre, lion stamped on outside ; a small 18 ct. gold pencil-case, about 2 in. long; an 18 ct. gold fern-shaped brooch set with shamrock leaves in pearls ; an 18 ct. gold round-shaped brooch with pearls set in circle ; and an 18 ct. gold heart-shaped brooch set with pearls and sapphires : total value, £lO3.
